ABOUT REGS & EGGS

We launched our Regs & Eggs event series in 2017 - inviting industry experts to share their insights and views on the latest regulatory changes over breakfast (eggs to be specific).

These gatherings serve as a platform to share insights, foster discussions, and exchange ideas with industry leaders on the critical factors influencing compliance within financial services.

Our Regs & Eggs events are designed to facilitate knowledge-sharing and promote collaboration, empowering attendees to stay abreast of regulatory developments and navigate the evolving landscape of compliance effectively.

Last year's Regs & Eggs event explored the application of AI in financial services and how firms can effectively navigate AI in crucial areas like communications surveillance.

Lord Finkelstein OBE,  provided a politically neutral keynote address, analysing the likely scenarios under an expected Labour government, and examining the potential economic strategies and regulatory reforms needed to address debt and promote growth. There was also an insightful panel discussion on the potential for AI to enhance efficiencies within Communications Surveillance. Panelists delved into key considerations for leveraging these technologies, providing insights and best practices for integrating AI into surveillance frameworks.
