This marks the third year in a row that SteelEye has been recognized for its compliance technology and data analytics solutions in With Intelligence's HFM European Services Awards.
The ceremony, which took place at the iconic Victoria and Albert Museum in London last night, recognizes European hedge fund service providers who have demonstrated exceptional client service, innovative product development, and strong and sustainable business growth over the past 12 months. The award for Best RegTech Solution celebrates providers that have simplified compliance for their clients.
Over the past 12-month, the shift to flexible or hybrid working has created increased complexity for Hedge Fund compliance teams. At the same time, regulators have shown little leniency but have insisted that compliance rules need to continuously be met - investing more heavily in their own abilities to analyze data and supervise the firms they regulate.
During this unprecedented period, SteelEye’s technology supported firms when they needed it most - ensuring that compliance teams could capture data from new sources, effectively and accurately report to the regulator, and continuously oversee employees in line with global regulations for operational oversight.
SteelEye has made a number of enhancements to its service offering during the past year. For example, SteelEye expanded its Communications Surveillance suite in order to provide financial firms of all sizes and risk profiles access to best-in-class e-comms and v-comms oversight tools. The company also launched a new surveillance lexicon that monitors more than six times as many search terms as a standard lexicon and released its three-way reconciliation solution to tackle MiFIR transaction reporting issues.
